Summary

Torn War Intelligence is a free, community-built tool for Torn City faction-war intelligence. We collect the minimum needed to run the tool, never expose your API key, and never sell your personal data. This page explains exactly what is stored, how cookies are used, and how third-party advertising works.

What we store

• Your Torn API key — stored AES-256 encrypted on the server and never returned to the browser, shown to other users, or shared with third parties.
• Account identifiers — your Torn player ID and faction ID, used to load your faction and war.
• Shared stat intelligence — anonymised stat estimates and war-history records derived from gameplay data. Individual stat breakdowns are never stored; only a verified total.

Your API key

The tracker uses a key with basic + battlestats and faction selections (basic, ranked wars, attacks, chain) — the Generate Key button pre-selects exactly these. The key is used solely to read faction, member, war, and chain data from the official Torn API on your behalf. You can rotate it at any time from Torn and re-connect, or delete all of your data from the Settings page.

Cookies

We set one essential, first-party cookie — a secure, HttpOnly session token (30-day sliding expiry) that keeps you signed in. It cannot be read by JavaScript and is not used for tracking.

Advertising & third-party cookies

To keep the tool free we may display ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are enabled:

• Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you. You can opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.
• More information on how Google uses data is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
• For visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland, a consent prompt is shown before any non-essential advertising cookies are set, in line with applicable law.

Data deletion

You can delete your account and data at any time from the Settings page. Deletion is immediate and removes your player record, encrypted key, verified totals, and the activity events you contributed. Anonymised FF estimates and war-history records (with the contributor unlinked) are retained as part of the shared community intelligence record, as disclosed at sign-up.

This tool is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Torn. It accesses Torn data only through the official Torn API, with your consent.
